You might be battling a quiet, looping question: Who am I when I'm not constantly performing or being productive? Maybe you're exhausted from trying to feel like a "good enough" employee, parent, friend, or community member - hiding your true self just to fit in and meet everyone else's expectations. If you're stuck in a cycle of going through the motions, feeling deeply alone, or carrying an ever-present sense of digital and emotional fatigue, you don't have to figure it out alone.
My approach to therapy:
I'm not here to prescribe answers or treat you like a puzzle to be solved. My approach is to walk side-by-side with you in collaborative partnership - dipping our toes in the water together, and wading further once you're comfortable. My role is to help you slow down, safely untangle the messy parts of your experience, and discover your own path forward at a pace that actually feels right.
In our sessions, we'll use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): a practical, values-driven framework that, instead of forcing away difficult thoughts and feelings, invites you to look at them with curiosity. I'll help you "unhook" from self-limiting narratives and tap into the creative, confident part of yourself that already exists. Together we'll clarify what your ideal life might look like and build step-by-step actions that realign your daily routine with what feels meaningful and sustainable to you.
My practice is also culturally sensitive to BIPOC and multicultural experiences, particularly the weight of navigating systems that continue to equate human value with economic output and sameness.
A bit about me:
I come from 15 years of high-pressure tech work, a lifelong experience navigating a second-generation immigrant upbringing, and raising a multicultural family blended with exchange students from around the world. I know firsthand how isolating it can be to navigate shifting identities and systemic pressures, which is a big part of why I do this work.
Outside of sessions, I stay grounded through family, close friends, and local community work. My perspective on growth and connection is shaped daily at home: navigating the world through the eyes of my elementary-aged son, and learning from the teenage exchange students we host. If you're ready to take a breath and explore what lies beyond the grind, I'd love to walk alongside you.
