INDIVIDUAL & COUPLES THERAPY

Intern Therapist

I work with adults, both individuals and couples, who are navigating life's complex challenges. This may include anxiety, depression, trauma, infertility, grief and loss, perinatal mental health, reproductive trauma, postpartum anxiety and depression, career and life transitions, couples counseling, parenting, and helping people who feel "stuck" in their current circumstances. Whether you're facing a specific crisis or seeking deeper self-understanding, I'm here to support you through your journey.

I make the therapeutic space a place where you feel safe to explore questions about meaning, purpose, or any obstacles and difficulties you’re facing.  Therapy is where we can provide the space and time for your story to  continuously unfold and be understood from different perspectives.  I believe every person has an innate capacity for growth, healing, and an ability to develop and strengthen their resilience, and my role is to create an environment where you can safely reflect on your experiences, and together, we can uncover a path forward.  I view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative, supportive partnership built on mutual trust, respect, and genuine human connection.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in an existential-phenomenological framework, which focuses on an empathetic openness to your unique, individual experience of yourself, others, and the world.  Through this lens, I bring warmth and compassion to our work together.  I believe in honoring your unique perspective as well as fostering an openness to consider new possibilities and ways of being and understanding in the world.

I grew up in Wisconsin, and I am a midwesterner at heart, but spent my childhood summers with family  in the PNW.  After graduating from college, I was a middle school teacher and instructional coach. Upon moving to the PNW, I worked in talent acquisition for big tech companies, providing me with a diverse perspective on career transitions.

Life challenges and motherhood led me to re-examine the work I wanted to do for others, and I am currently a graduate student in the Master of Psychology program at Seattle University.  These varied experiences inform my understanding of the many different paths life can take and the courage it requires to make meaningful changes. I enjoy spending time with my energetic husband, toddler, and boxer, experiencing all of the joys and growing pains of family life.  I also love quick weekend adventures to explore different areas in the region, being active, and reading “Busy Things That Go” to my toddler, on repeat.  I look forward to supporting you on your path of reflection, healing, and growth!
