“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change." – Carl Rogers

Welcome! I believe therapy is a space where all parts of you- including those that have been disowned, dismissed, or hidden- can find acceptance. Together, we’ll explore your story with curiosity and compassion, listening for what wants to shift. My goal is to help you build more connection and meaning in your life by coming to know yourself as you truly are.

I work with people navigating identity, relationships, and the lingering effects of trauma. I also work well with people who are highly sensitive, or have had to shape themselves into roles that don’t quite fit to feel safe or successful. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ clients (I’m queer myself) and those interested in exploring attachment, people-pleasing, depression, anxiety, life transitions, authenticity, shame, and loneliness. I’m a good fit for people seeking long-term work that addresses root causes rather than surface-level symptom relief.

Healing happens on a whole-body level. In therapy, we’ll tend to both your thinking mind and your embodied, emotional self. My approach is relational and psychodynamic, meaning our work is shaped by a real, human relationship where you don’t have to perform or be “fixed.” Together, we’ll slow things down, notice patterns, and make sense of how your past and present connect, at a pace that feels respectful and supportive. I often draw from psychoanalytic principles, mindfulness and interpersonal neurobiology, and the way culture and systems of power influence both your experience and the space between us.

I find therapy can feel most grounded and connected when we're in the same room, and so I prefer working together in person. I typically see clients once a week, and sometimes twice a week to help deeper work unfold. This consistent rhythm helps us notice subtle shifts, deepen emotional safety, and work with experiences as they arise between us. This approach works best for people who are curious about themselves, open to reflection, and eager to explore meaningful, lasting change both within themselves and in their relationships. Together, we’ll create a secure space to let your authentic self unfurl, using our relationship as a catalyst for growth and healing.

Growing up in Eastern Washington left me with a love of sagebrush and Top 40 radio. My path to becoming a therapist meandered through early childhood education, public health, and living abroad- all of which shape how I understand people and systems. I hold a BA in Biology from Whitman College and a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. Outside the therapy room, you might find me sea kayaking, poking around thrift shops, or making up goofy voices for dogs.
