I work with children (ages 6+), teens, adults, and families. With children and teens, I support challenges such as anxiety, depression, school or social stress, and family transitions. I work closely with parents to build understanding and strengthen relationships at home.
With families, I aim to create a safe space for everyone to feel seen, heard, and understood. We'll spend time identifying the challenges the family would like to address and explore the wounds that are at the root of those challenges.
With adults, I help navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, grief and loss, and interpersonal struggles. I have a special interest in reproductive life stage concerns - including perinatal mental health, parenting, and the changes that can accompany perimenopause and menopause.
My approach is warm, curious, and grounded in the belief that each of us longs to understand ourselves, grow through life’s changes, and live in alignment with our values and passions.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent nearly two decades in the corporate world, working in management consulting and leadership coaching. While I valued the work, I often felt a tension between the organization’s and people’s well-being. Over time, I realized what mattered most to me wasn’t advising organizations. It was witnessing individuals step into their own power. My turning point came after becoming a mother and doing my own deep therapeutic work. I learned what it means to build a relationship with myself and how transformational it is to feel truly safe, seen, and empowered.
That is the kind of space I aim to create for you. A space where we can explore what brings you joy, where you feel stuck, and what truly matters to you. Therapy is not always easy, but I believe that when we allow ourselves to feel our full range of emotions we make room to experience joy and our lives more fully.
My work is trauma-informed and rooted in somatic awareness. I believe trauma, big or small, lives in the body. When left unprocessed, it can shape how we see the world and respond to it. Together, we will slow down and tune into what is happening inside you. By noticing present-day experiences that feel stuck or reactive, we can begin to understand old patterns and gently shift them. Over time, your nervous system can learn to feel safer, more flexible, and more able to adapt.
I see therapy as a collaborative process, and lead with a deep respect for the vulnerability this work involves from both of us. I believe you are the expert on your own life. I listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and offer reflections when they are useful. More than anything, I want to support you in becoming a strong advocate for yourself and reconnecting with your inner wisdom.
I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and earned my Master of Arts in Existential and Phenomenological Psychology from Seattle University. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and teenage sons, swimming, hiking, skiing, and reading. I am drawn to fresh air, open water, and honest conversations.
Reaching out for support is a courageous first step towards healing and growth. I would be honored to walk alongside you and support you in feeling more connected and empowered.
