Intern Therapist

I'm so glad you're here. Reaching out for support can be one of the most challenging steps, and I want you to know I see your courage. I work with individuals, couples, and families across a wide range of experiences - anxiety, life transitions, women's issues, substance misuse, interpersonal challenges, and self-esteem concerns. Whatever brings you in, the therapeutic process must honor who you are: your identity, culture, values, and lived experiences.

As an African American woman, I hold a deep awareness of the importance of advocacy, cultural humility, and the very real impacts of systemic oppression on mental health. I acknowledge the ways race, class, culture, identity, and spirituality shape how we move through the world - and I bring that awareness into the room with honesty and openness, always willing to learn from the relationship we build together.

My approach is grounded in authentic curiosity, transparency, and mindfulness. I'm heavily influenced by somatic, relational, and meaning-centered therapies - which means we pay attention not just to what you're thinking, but to what you're carrying in your body, your relationships, and your sense of purpose. I believe therapy provides a window into the soul and the human experiences we carry. My goal is always to meet you where you are and co-create a space that feels genuinely yours.

I grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, and earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from Mizzou. After graduating, I moved to San Diego, where I worked with adolescents in mental health settings, an experience that deepened my passion for this work and led me to pursue graduate training. I later moved to Seattle to complete my master's degree in psychology with an emphasis in existential phenomenology.

Outside of therapy, I'm also a yoga instructor and find grounding through movement, nature, and art. You might find me hiking, running, baking, paddle boarding, visiting art museums, or somewhere new in the world.
