This training offers a behind-the-scenes look at real collaboration between Kelly Herzberg, a psychotherapist at Self Space, and Cobi Konadu, a somatic therapist at Konadu Health & Wellness. Over the past three years, we’ve partnered in the care of more than a dozen shared clients, including seven we currently support together.

We’ll walk through how this collaboration actually works in practice, starting with the referral process – how we introduce the idea to clients, build trust, and thoughtfully “tee up” the addition of another provider. From there, we’ll explore how we collaborate once care is shared, including how we communicate, what our correspondence looks like, and how we stay aligned across modalities.

We’ll also look at how this approach supports the client’s work with one to two case examples illustrating outcomes and the impact of integrated care. In addition, we’ll speak to how collaboration supports us as providers – how sharing the clinical load shapes our experience, decision-making, and capacity.

We’ll reference and share both our Phases of the Work and Stages of Clinical Care frameworks to structure and contextualize this model. The session will include a 30-minute presentation followed by 30 minutes of discussion.
