I view human beings as intrinsically worthy, knowledgeable, and creative. Difficult experiences do not define us, but they can affect the way we see ourselves and our relationships with others. I am passionate about helping people who have undergone traumatic events or challenging life experiences reconnect with their bodies, minds, and spirits. Therapy provides a powerful space to heal and reconnect with the natural strength and resilience that each of us possess. Together, we can identify unhelpful patterns and cultivate new ways of being that honor your internal value system and help you to foster meaningful relationships.

I help individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, and sexuality and have a special interest in working with members of the LGBTQ community and with young women who are looking to explore their identity and find safety within themselves. I am kink, sex-worker, and racial justice allied and have specialized experience providing strengths-based support for neurodivergence and traumatic brain injury.

I also help couples navigate needs, boundaries, and communication. I take great care in providing trauma-informed support as we examine how intergenerational patterns, traumas, and attachment styles influence the way you show up in partnerships. Couples in non-traditional relationship styles are welcome in this space.

My practice is influenced by polyvagal theory with an emphasis on decolonization. This means that I take special care to look at the ways that historical and current oppressive social structures impact our sense of self and our feelings of safety in the world. Using approaches informed by feminist therapy and contextual behavioral science, we can collaborate in cultivating movement toward your most integrated self by looking at your larger context and unconscious patterns. It would truly be an honor to witness your story and walk beside you in your journey.

Born and raised on Lummi Island, Washington, I love that the Pacific Northwest offers mountains, lakes, and the ocean–how lucky are we? I received my bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Washington, and received a masters degree in counseling psychology from Bastyr University. Outside of the therapy room, I coordinate ongoing social justice research and am involved with community advocacy efforts that align with my value of active-allyship. In my free time, I enjoy hiking and foraging, cooking, and spending time with my wife and our two cats.
