INDIVIDUAL & ADOLESCENT THERAPY

Intern Therapist
Welcome. I believe therapy provides a space where you can be fully seen, heard, and understood without judgment. My work is grounded in curiosity and a deep trust in the therapeutic process. While therapy can offer relief from pain or symptoms, I also see it as an opportunity to engage with life more fully, to uncover new perspectives and inhabit your experience with greater meaning.
I work with adults from all kinds of backgrounds who feel like something is missing or want more out of their experience. People who are navigating anxiety, depression, or a general sense of stuckness. I am particularly interested in questions of meaning and men's issues, including modern masculinity and the pressure to have it all figured out.
My approach is both reflective and intentional. I draw from Psychodynamic therapy to create space for depth and to explore the roots of your internal world. I also integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients clarify their values and take concrete steps toward them. We’ll also pay close attention to the therapeutic relationship itself, using it as a space to experience new ways of relating to yourself and to others.
My path to becoming a therapist has had its share of twists and turns, which has solidified my belief in the importance of finding your own way. I’m a Seattle native, and while I love the city, I feel most at home in the mountains or by a river. When I’m not in the office, you can find me bouldering, improvising on guitar, or getting lost in a fantasy novel.
