INDIVIDUAL & ADOLESCENT THERAPY

Intern Therapist

I believe that all human beings possess the inherent ability to heal themselves when they are given the space to be truly heard and provided guidance along the way. My approach to therapy is holistic and compassionate, with an attunement to how easy it is to become disconnected from our bodies, who we really are, and who we strive to be. We are all products of a lifetime of beautiful and painful experiences, and together we can hold space for these experiences while also identifying frustrating patterns holding you back, reducing self-criticism and ultimately bringing you back to yourself.

I work with adult and adolescent individuals experiencing issues with anxiety, depression, executive dysfunction, life transitions, self-worth, boundary-setting, and those undergoing relationship issues and attachment trauma. My practice is rooted in a person-centered approach, informed by polyvagal theory, somatic techniques, and DBT tools, all of which provide a greater understanding of both why we feel and think the way we do, as well as actionable ways to move forward.

You are the expert on your own lived experience, even in the midst of confusion, stagnancy, or transition. I am here to honor and remind you of that notion by listening without judgment, and providing a healthy balance between challenging old ways of thinking and encouraging radical acceptance of your own intuition. In therapy, you can speak openly about your curiosity of yourself and the world, which can ultimately help you better accept yourself and engage with others. I would love to hear your story.

I am lucky enough to pursue my Master of Counseling Psychology degree at Bastyr University, nestled in the beautiful Saint Edwards Park. There, I practice as a student clinician and learn from a root-cause lens. Prior to chasing my dream of a career in mental healthcare, I journeyed through an undergraduate degree in Public Relations, experience in patient care coordination, and studies in naturopathic medicine. I’m also a Seattle-area native, and love nothing more than daily walks by the lake or on a trail with coffee in hand, trying new restaurants, and enjoying a glass of wine on my rooftop with loved ones!
