MA, LMHC

Therapy is a safe, compassionate space where together we can dive into an exploration of yourself, what you want, and what may be getting in the way.  Guided by curiosity, we work together to understand your story, uncover different perspectives or new truths, and help you continue building the life you want. Often, this transformative exploration empowers clients to create a richer, more nuanced, and compassionate narrative freeing them from the places they feel stuck and enabling forward movement with renewed clarity and purpose.

I am passionate about working with people who are ready to make a change in their lives, and we will work together as we explore what those changes look like and how we get there. I specialize in working with individuals looking to address attachment wounds, to enhance communication with loved ones, and address anxiety, depression and trauma symptoms. I enjoy working with individuals who are working to break codependency patterns or perfectionism patterns. I approach therapy in an integrative way, meaning that my goal is to meet you where you are, and tailor our work together to your unique needs. My aim is to help you feel seen and understood.

I am trained in and draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, blending holistic and cognitive methods to help you navigate challenges and deepen self-understanding. My work is informed primarily by Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), creative arts therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS). When addressing PTSD symptoms, I primarily utilize Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), which is a trauma protocol focusing on addressing beliefs shaped by traumatic experiences that are keeping you stuck in your PTSD symptoms. CPT uses cognitive behavioral interventions to address your trauma symptoms without having to re-experiencing the explicit details of trauma memories. Together, whether we are addressing trauma, working on communication, or exploring unhelpful patterns of perfectionism, we’ll move at your pace, tailoring therapy to you.

Born and raised in Boston, I’ve always had a love for adventure, creativity, and meaningful connections. My journey took me across the world during my studies—I earned my bachelor’s in psychology and art at Saint Michael’s College in Vermont before heading to Cork, Ireland, where I received my Master’s in Art Therapy from Munster Technological University at Crawford College of Art & Design. Now, as a Washingtonian, I’m embracing the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. I find joy in the outdoors—camping under the stars, hiking through the mountains, swimming in lakes, and, of course, creating art. A perfect day for me includes soaking up the sunshine (preferably by the water!), sipping coffee, and taking a long walk through a local park with my husband  and our golden retriever.

I know that starting therapy is a big step, and I’m honored to walk alongside you on this journey. I look forward to creating a space where you feel supported, heard, and empowered.
